I wonder if Fred thinks even less of the fat bloated junkie this week?

Listening yesterday the talentless douche kept claiming the reason he didn't show up to Fred's 50th B-day party was because "his shrink told him that it was too soon for him in his recovery to go due to there being alcohol there". Now that we know there was no shrink and the assclown never really quit doing anything he was addicted to it just makes him look more like the sad hacky liar he always was.

...or maybe even Artie is smart enough, without a shrink telling him ,if he wants to get sober he shouldnt put himself in a trigger situation

Fred & Artie's interactions always seemed too polite & mutually appreciative to be genuine. I doubt they spent much time socialising during Artie's decade on the show & certainly not after it.

That would fly if he would have shown an ounce of balls and just said that instead of claiming multiple times that "his shrink told him he couldn't go"

And for the record, sad little anonymous neg reppers can blow me.

...or he had a better party to go to or he already scored and getting fixed at home was more appealing.

Fred is a stable family guy, who managed to get a dream job based on a pretty subdued personality and minimal real talent.

Artie is a junkie who can be a great personality, but is pretty toxic when you get right down to it.

Why anyone would assume they would bond on any level is beyond me.

As for it being too soon for Artie... waaaaaah! He is just ten situps away from being Lindsay Lohan (though Artie may be the better actor).

Exactly. I can imagine a lot of awkward silences whenever those two were left alone together.

Sometime in the last 2 or 3 years that Artie was on the show. Fred must've read some shit pop-psychology book on positive reinforcement, and from that point on, any time Artie would make a joke, know matter how unfunny, lame or predictable it was, fred would always do that terrible forced laugh of his, or defend him like a mother defending her baby. All it did was make Artie more arrogant and delusional. Fred would go weeks without saying a word, but if Dr Drew is saying something about Artie, or during the whole Joe Buck aftermath, Fred wouldn't shut the fuck up defending him.

When has Artie ever wanted to be sober? Unless his mom or sister was getting on his shit, or he was court ordered.

Good to see that others are seeing Artie for what he really is. I got booted from SFN for making fun of the stupid junkie.

Howard doesn't want that "Waste Of Skin" at the party. As well as near him anymore . . .

The best is if Howard cuts someone out of his life they all follow suit, especially Gary. Jackie, Stuttering John, and Artie. I wish Howard would fire Jon Hein and then Booey wouldn't know what to do with himself

Yeah, Fred always laughed way too hard at whatever dumb comment Artie made.

I thought it was cool at first too but if I'm not mistaken, I think WG's rep just took a big hit for his opinion....
