In most of Europe it's illegal. I wish America would do the same. My cat is a little fucker who's ruined shitloads of household paraphernalia but, having him de-clawed was never an option. It's part of the deal when you allow an animal into your home -- stuff gets fucked with. If people don't want a cat to do all the things that cats do, don't get a fuckin' cat.
