I've seen Berman doing remote pieces. One was from Fenway, where he apparently "predicted" the Sox' comeback against the Yankees back in '01. He scribbled something under the Green Monster as "proof", so he had to drag a camera crew out there to show it, and believe me, the smug self-satisfaction was off the charts.

He's much more pompous than smug, but smug is definitely in the mix, too.

Either way, you summed everything up perfectly, except I would wish that ESPN died quickly.

Dickhead Dan would never do the show. As far as he's concerned, that studio was built exclusively for him to use one day per week... In his mind, N&A are just filler for DirecTV as long as the studio is already there.

As far as his untalented staff goes, it's easy to draw parallels to Howie. He must get these cheesy little fags at half-price because they really are terrible on-air. My favorite is when Dan does his best Howie impersonation and makes his bitches beg to have dinner or drinks with him after the show.

I've just seen those awful commercials and I hope that something more awful than I can possibly imagine happens to them.

I really do not like the Danettes. I never heard of them until N&A did DP's show during the last superbowl week.

He's mentioned countless times on-air that he created the DP show based off the Howard Stern format. He says he doesn't want to be like one of those guys that steals things from Howie and doesn't give him credit. DP has even been on the Celebrity SuperFan Roundtable a couple of times to suck Howie's dick.
