First off the crust...Not too hard..Mix your flour , tad of sugar ,cinnamon , and butter/crisco..and ice water ...Roll out on a lightly floured surface..dust the top of your dough and rolling pin so as not to stick and pitch it in your pie dish...Best way I have found to xfer crust to pie dish is to roll the dough on your pin and unroll in your dish

When you get your crust in the dish..trim the edges leaving a little overhang...For the outside of my crust I use my thumb and forefinger and squeeze around the edges to pretty it up cause thats the way momma did it
