... Shit is Intense
... Shit is Intense
so you start a thread & your only description is "shit is intense"...great backstory boobs.
I hate being bipolar, its awesome.
What else is their to say? ... My 67 year old Uncle is starting to see shadows, people, animals, & other things that aren't there .... Its a real mind fuck spending time with him...Weird to see someone you've know for so many years start to behave like a mental patient ...

I had an Aunt who died from it. Wait until he doesn't know how to swallow and can't eat solid foods anymore. It's a sad and awful way to die.
Yes, and it really isn't fun time right now. My heart goes out to you.

Yes, it's difficult to watch and it can last years
My 17 yr. old mutt barks at the toaster oven and wakes up barking since he gets scared and confused. He also paces/whimpers most of the day. He has just lost his marbles but still has some joy in his life so it isn't time yet.
I have no idea if my mom has dementia because I don't care enough to call her.
Lady I work with takes care of her Mom. She has shit on the floor and wiped it on the walls. She has also called the police to tell them that she keeps her like a hostage and hits her (no chance). Good thing my gene pool is so vile no one in my family will ever get that old.
Best thing, educate yourself about dementia so you kind of know what is happening and why they act out the way they do.
Sorry about your uncle, Moobs. I can't say I know how you feel, but I'm sure it sucks.
My father died in my arms at a hospice in 2005 from Alzheimers. It's fucking terrible.
