Jon Hein is God is Lord over the Saloon.
At least Beth doesn't appear to be claiming she personally did anything to help the situation, although she seems to be including herself in the group who suffered hardship and devastation. I guess having to spend the storm with your miserable annoying whining girlie-man husband is pretty traumatic.
Well, that's just lovely. And so much easier than getting off your ass and actually doing something.![]()
I believe she only wrote the 'Xo Beth' part. Just sayin'.
Team Anfkid all the way!

"Many coastal communities—both on Long Island, where I live, and in New York City and New Jersey—were completely devastated."
Does anyone else find this sentence confusing? Or is it me?
Wasn't she tweeting about kiss your pet day and doing stupid photo shoots with fake eyelashes in the aftermath of the hurricane? Her adoring fans won't remember that foolishness and will just thank her for the wonderfoe and caring blog post.
About Beth
Animal League Spokesperson Beth Stern is such a strong advocate for the animals, and a proud parent to pets Apple, Walter, Leon Bear and Charlie Boy. Beth helps focus national attention on the plight of shelter animals, appearing on so many TV and cable shows to help spread the word about shelter adoptions. Beth also helps behind the scenes, lending a hand to our rescue team as they take animals from our Mobile Adoption Units to our medical facility. Beth’s passion for the animals is truly unmatched—she even ran a 26.2 mile marathon to save lives.
What a bunch of shit.

I wonder who typed that up for her.
