Exclamation What has the most listeners on sirius? Nfl, o&a, music, stern?

Does anybody know the actual listening statistics for SiriusXM? Stern has always claimed he draws millions (weekly) but I somehow suspect the NFL and other programming has surpassed anything Stern brings in, especially with a 2-3 day work week when he does actually show up

It would have to be sports. I bet NPR beats STern in the ratings these days.

I've always suspected that the Nascar channel is at or near the top. Nearly every long haul truck driver has sirius, and that channel caters to that demographic. They devote 12 to 14 hours a day to live programming. More on race days. It was listed in the past as the most listened to sports channel on Sirius.

I just checked what channel o&p are on. Found out Sirius wants more $$$ for "premium" package (I bought lifetime in 2005). Not going to happen. If I get bored I will call Sirius and let them know of my complete dissatisfaction with liar thief Howard Stern and the rest of their service.

I recently cancelled. And when they sent me the email as to why, I wrote that it was because "howard stern pissed on me & told me to cancel"
My comments are based on my opinion only.

Is there a way listeners are measured for an accurate reading? I am just tired of listening to him go on about the amount of people that tune in when really he is full of s**t.

I bet Sirius knows exactly how many listeners Stern has.

They would have to do a direct to listener survey which would cost millions to complete. North America is to socially diverse to draw any conclusions from a small sample size. My guess, it was a few million that came over from his terrestrial days and 3/4 of those would have cancelled. He would not attract new listeners due to his schedule and lack of brand awareness. There is better programing on the radio.
I am embracing my inner asshole.
