no, pawn is an agreed upon loan, 3 months, 6 months etc in writing. i know if you sell the pawn shop jewlery, there is a waiting period to give cops a chance to work thro their stolen jewlery reports if they're so inclined. probably every states waiting period is different & for different items.i wouldnt trust the pawn shop to give correct info either.
