My dog eats that. My morbidly obese cat eats Nutro Max Indoor Senior, which my super old cat was eating, but she started to look like she was wasting away and was all skin and bones so I switched her to wet food and she's put some weight back on.

you just want to avoid the foods where the number one ingredient isn't meat. If it says rice or wheat then it isn't very good for them.
