When I was in Newport, R.I. they used to have this very big and very old metal bridge across the bay that would freeze up.

My Ford Escort (yep, I was rollin ) had tires that would fit into the groves between the metal on the road and it would scare the shit out of me driving across.

The few times I tried it when it was frozen was the limits of my driving ability.

They dun blew that bridge up a few years ago.

You mean the FRIGGIN Jamestown Bridge? OMG I used to pray to every God in the world when I crossed that stupid thing. One lane both ways and at the top the zig zag freezing thing? UGH. I watched on television when they blew up the sucker. I think I had a bazillion panic attacks crossing that freakin bridge.

Plus coming from Jamestown, it's level for a long while and all the fishermen are hanging there, waving at you. Then you go UP UP UP into the sky with your car and your feet are over your head and then the friggin metal shit where your car does the shakey shakey back and forth and then you are going DOWN DOWN standing UP in your car because it's such a sharp fall and then the QUICK ASS right turn coming off it.
