I was always a fan of Howard berating Ba Ba Booey, Stuttering John and Jackie (and sometimes Fred). At least they would fight back though; especially Booey and Jackie.

Its sad. They just take his abuse and dont fight back. And the funny thing is that they have 10 times more ammunition than Jackie or SJ had. The teeth, the hair, the horrible photoshops, the wife, the bomb on AGT, etc, etc, etc.

I guess the ultimate revenge would be to just quit. Even with their lackluster skills, there has to be SOMETHING out there that pays just as much (or more) than what they are making. Hell, a job at McDonalds would be better. At least you would get free food. All that so called publicity and "being famous" on THSS isn't worth that much more than a free burger.

He can't win these days. We used to enjoy it because he was a normal dude, powerless to stop the incompetence going on around him. He hated his job, but was there every day, like the vast majority of his audience. He was one of us.

Now the money and power has gone to his head. The veil has been lifted and everyone can see that Howard is no longer one of us and has crossed over the line. He takes his elite status for granted and has forgotten his roots and his audience.

Now he's just a rich old queen bitching about rich people problems. All the abuse he heaps on his staff now comes from a position of power. It's abuse rather than ball-busting and that's not fun or funny.
