Police say they found Henry Hamilton’s body in his bedroom Nov. 8, along with a living will with handwritten words “Do not revive! (expletive) Obama!” Two empty prescription empty pill bottles were in the dining room.
Hamilton’s partner Michael Cossey told Key West police he last saw Hamilton when they watched the election results together. According to the police report, Hamilton was upset and said, “If Barack gets re-elected, I’m not going to be around.”
Cossey says Hamilton was anxious about his tanning business. Police say Cossey found Hamilton’s body after returning home from a night of playing cards with friends.
Authorities do not suspect foul play.
Jesus Christ. You live in Key West, which is like paradise, and you give a shit about the elections? What a fucking dumb-ass. And who the fuck starts a tanning business in a place where it's always sunny?
My name was supposed to be French fries with mayo but I was drunk when I signed up.

You can also just call me "Dick".

And like Fletchman, you too deny that any disparity exists and that everyone starts off equal.
Well shit lets just go full Harrison Bergeron then and give everyone handicaps to meet the lowest common denominator.

And this disparity shit can't be used as an excuse or a crutch for too much longer. My grandfather never made it past the 3rd grade, my father dropped out in 9th grade and their lack of education had little influence on my intelligence or abilities. This misnomer about someone's parents, grandparents or even great-grandparents lacking (or being denied) an education making someone just or recently born a victim too is fucking bullshit. I'm for true equality where we are judged by our actions, abilities, and character and not by the color of our skin.

I suppose I should have used "Not by" instead of "and".

Oh, I don't think anyone intends for it to go on forever. There are economic indicators that can tell us if affirmative action is needed still. And based on current numbers?

    It is.

Who gives a shit about those dead bones from the early-mid 1900's? WTF does that have to do with today's society where an education does in fact matter for many, many jobs?

liberalism IS the lie; the lie that two wrongs make a right; the lie that the ends justify the means; the lie that we can all be equal without causing any harm

And I would counter what does slavery and Jim Crow have to do with any of that today? Jim Crow is nigh on 50 yrs in the grave, Affirmative action is nigh on 30 yrs old and with the rise of the internet 15 yrs ago information is but seconds away. No more excuses for lacking an education.

The point I made was about how the past doesn't have a direct bearing on what you can do yourself.

You mean outside the posts here, on twitter, on facebook, at any Republican event today in which people still call Obama the same words used for slaves during the Jim Crow laws?
