Artie high as hell on last night's show

While watching the DirectTV show i noticed Artie repeatedly rubbing his nose & face during the Katherine Lanasa interview. Then during a commercial break they showed a behind the scenes conversation between Artie, Nick & Bochetti where Artie started doing the nod & then literally fell asleep mid sentence WHILE STANDING. The looks on Nick & Mikes faces were priceless as they just stared at Artie for like 5 seconds. The camera then quickly cut away during the awkward silence. Our silverback gorilla is definately back on the horse..

I skipped to a random part of the video and Artie rubbed his nose at least ten times in thirty seconds.

I saw him moshing through the park with a Sicilian slice in each hand. He is most certainly on the dope again.

Yes every few weeks someone comes in and says he's definitely on drugs again. I'm not buying it. I tend to think he's just horribly unhealthy.

Whether it's smack or gonzo pills, that's just more evidence, but he's a grown man, there's nothing Direct TV or Nick can do unless he fucks up on the job. Again, there's so much money riding on him and Nick, they'll ride that horse regardless of whether he's on horse or not.

Jokes aside, I never appreciated Artie on Stern (I guess in that snobby way you never accept a new member in your favorite band when one of the original members chokes on vomit) , but really think this show is perfect for him

Nick D'paolo on the other hand...punching above his weight and thinks he's the talent

I don't have DirecTV so I won't be able to see unless someone uploads the video, but I think if there is signs of drug abuse that DirecTV and Nick will confront him. Unlike the Stern show.

There are a number of signs in last night's broadcast alone.

Like others have said he's scratching himself the whole episode, even lifts his shirt and scratches his belly, the nod episode during commercial break live look in, just a palpable sense that he's not all there, and those around him in the know are aware something's off. There's a couple of times where something happens that you can see people shooting looks at each other, non verbal cues that are subtle yet very telling all at once.

With everything that' he's been through, being put in this situation, I'd truly be surprised if Artie didn't relapse. Unless I missed something it's not like he went somewhere and really worked on his problems - he just hung out for a year or two and then went back at it in a setting/time slot even more conducive to getting high.

All that said not judging nor rooting against him. And I can honestly say the last thing I'd want is a Nick D'paolo as my lifeboat, guy seems eve less equipped than howard to handle something like this if that's possible

Yup, he's basically out at :40. I know the signs & symptoms of heroin use. The look on poor Bochetti's face at the end says it all. Poor Mike. Artie's gonna fuck up the best thing that ever happened to that kid..
