Angry People with second homes at the jersey shore should be ashamed

Should be the last to get Fema assistance but I'm finding out a lot of them are asking for it.. I know on LBI (Long beach island)a lot of them rent in the summer for 5k-10k a week for a home on the beach.. yes I said "k".. These people should be ashamed of themselves .. So many only have the one home and live all year round and really need the help!

Man that is fucked up. Let the primary residents get help first then worry about your over priced cash cows.

Oh the irony...Actually, I see a bunch of second home owners bitching on fakebook because FEMA told them they are shut out....oh and soooo many fuckers were under insured it aint funny

    Good read on the subject

In the abstract, most Americans want a smaller and less intrusive government. In reality, what Americans really want is a government that spends less money on other people.

Hurricane Sandy is a perfect, microcosmic example of America's attitude toward government. We have millions of people who, most of the year, are ready to bash anyone who accepts government aid as a parasitic welfare queen, but the instant the water level rises a few feet too high in their own neighborhoods, those same folks transform into little Roosevelts, full of plaudits for the benefits of a strong state.

I thought FEMA would only take care of primary residences. How's the job going, cunt? I'm still trying to talk my brother in law into calling.

maybe its like at Breezy Point? originally all those homes were resort residences and people were only living there in season. over time the same shacks became used as primary residences and occupied year round.
