They were both turds absolutely but in Will's defense how good could any bit be on the current show when there is no money for a budget, no practice and no run through. Let's add the the principle star is "briefed" on the bit for 2 minutes, 10 minutes before the bit is aired and Fred is perpetually confused these days and Robin is in Narnia cackling at god knows what. Spielberg or Scorcese couldn't make anything work in those conditions.

They think that everything they produce is radio gold and no one has the right to criticize them in any way. It doesn't take a big budget to come up with an original idea once in a while but instead they just recycle the same lame bits over and over and expect everyone to be happy and accept it. I think Howard is getting the quality of Producer he's paying for. Plus, he's leading by example. If he wants to sit back and play Marie Antionette instead of Robespierre he needs to pay some one to take up HIS slack. Even a kitchen with the greatest cooks needs a head chef to have it run properly. Now imagine a kitchen with lousy cooks and the chef is sitting at the restaurant bar.

So all I was saying is if Will did come up with an original idea does he know he couldn't get it to Howard, past Howard, budgeted and produced properly - so why bother.

I don't follow. Common sense tells me that this should have been figured out BEFORE the segment was approved. Bobo didn't even know what the fuck he was doing there and was only asked to bring in his most valuable memorabilia. He traded nothing. And they had like 30+ items and showed only 4 or 5.

It was a shit segment from inception to execution. A giant disaster all around!

Will should have figured this out from the start.

He actually bragged about Bobo's Treasure Trade on BOR and claimed how it's was a "great segment" when in reality it was one of the stupidest things I've ever seen on HSS and it made no fucking sense whatsoever. And then on last week's BOR he bragged about this week's shit segment, Dumber Than A Box Of Rocks, and once again it ended up as a giant turd.
