Why NOT voting is a good thing

OK. i'll bite. i used to feel the same way....i voted libertarian for president up until the time clinton ran. his second term, libertarian. i couldn't vote for algore OR george bush. i couldn't vote for kerrey or george bush in 2004. and in 2008 i don't know who i voted for..i was still getting high and i remember making a split second decision (i think it was for obama).

this time however, i am sober and i have grown up but most of all, i had someone i was thrilled to be able to vote for... IMO, mitt romney would have been a wonderful president. i volunteered for romney, i contributed to romney and i voted for romney. i have been called a racist by some people on this board because i think obama is an amateur and a punk....big deal.

i can't criticize you for sticking to your principles but i wish someone could have explained why this time, it was too important.

Edit because: Mean and unnecessary. If I'm uncomfortable saying it in public, I shouldn't say it at all. I can't (or am too dumb) to just delete.

Seriously, if you hate both candidates and don't want either of them, you shouldn't vote.

I would also add that if you don't know shit about the issues you shouldn't vote either but then most of the country wouldn't be voting
