I like their early stuff, but saw them on Lalapaolooza in 96 and they played like shit. I could never stand Chris Cornell's solo stuff, sounds like he's singing with a mouth full of cereal.
That new song doesn't sound too good either.

I don't like Been Away Too Long either, but the rest of the record is pretty solid. Pretty classic Soundgarden - heavy, psychedelic, experimental. By Crooked Steps is another really good song.

Audioslave is horrendous.

I saw em way back when. They would play a soundgarden song, I would shout "play more soundgarden", then they wold play a rage song, I would shout "play more rage", then they played an audioslave song and I left.
