I always see all kinds of shit going on on my Facebook timeline during elections (both from my Dutch and American friends). It made me realize that friendships actually get hurt over this shit. If I look at my friends group, they are all over the place in terms of politics, really. Sure, sometimes we have discussions and the occasional drunken political jab gets dealt out, but it's all in a friendly kind of jokingly way and that's where it ends. In the end I really, really don't give a shit what my friends vote for.
