I live in New Jersey and don't want to move out of state.. however I do want to move to western or southern Jersey into a more rural area.. I hate being around people. It's too congested by me.

Move in the middle of the woods in Pennslyvania. In the 1990s my gradmother sold her summer house there for about $25K.. it was in the middle of no where. All of a sudden after she sold they built a few nice housing developments nearby and the house is worth 10 times what it is now..

We lived in Chattanooga, TN when I was 11-12. Summers didn't seem very hot, winters were mild. (didn't snow any while we there) The city is situated in the valley surrounded by mountains. There was no crazy stormy weather while we were there and no tornados. I was just a kid so I can't say about the taxes, but I'm sure it's better than jersey. Some nice places in Virginia.

I actually live in the burbs and have a driveway, but I'm hammered with shitty taxes, fucked up roads, ungodly traffic. Southwest Philly can be terrifying as far as worst part of the city.

I went to college in the south and hated the humidity.
