Howard thinks "Let it Be" is The Beatles worst album

Ironic, considering this is the opening number

Honestly, By the time Let it Be came out the Lads from Liverpool were being surpassed creatively by the likes of the Stones and Led Zeppelin......Their break up was timely......

People find the need to rank things. It's absurd.

Americans are the 2nd worst at this.

Right on, but I think that's what makes "Let It Be" a heavy album.

I'm thinking "Abbey Road" Was "Heavy" Whereas "Let it Be" Had a very bittersweet lament to it IMHO.......

considering Howard bashed George Martin, he's got no right to make anymore opinions about The Beatles. STFU and go listen to your "gay and faggot" (Iron Sheik's words, not mine) Coffee House, Covers and Grunge-Lite bands

George Martin probably took credit for that album

Fred, of course, agreed with Howard that "Let It Be" sucks.

Interesting, this from the man who is the father of the multi-talented Emily Stern. If you give birth to genius I guess that makes you an authority on all music.

I didn't hear what he said but I agree. The album was actually shelved by the Beatles. They thought it sucked too. Phil Spector poured syrup all over songs like Long and Winding Road. The Beatles wanted to capture their original raw "just go in and record" sound from the early years. They supposedly hated it (was recorded before Abbey Road) Spector got his hands on the tapes and accomplished just the opposite
