More or less. If you go to gamestop, people allways flake out and don't pick up their copy. I've gotten collector editions that way. Don't get your hopes too up.

GameStop changed it's policy recently and will hold a pre-order for 48 hours (longer if contact and arrangements are made with the store). After that, it's a crap shoot but their stores and robo calls have been more proactive recently with pre-order reminders.

did you pre-order it? then it should show up on time, otherwise probably none. I would check places that serious gamers generally don't like ToysRUs, Walmart, Target, etc.

When the first Modern Warfare came out, it was sold out everywhere. I tried every Gamestop, Walmart, Best Buy and Target within a 50 mile radius. Then I was at the mall and just happened to wander into Sears and they had a whole stack of them. I didn't even know they sold electronics. I've been going there for games ever since.
