Howard is a shit.....he can't allow his sister to have her photography to herself.....he has to compete. But he loses in this little contest. He's like those schlocky photographers who take pics of children with Santa Claus in malls.

The above comments are so true...and the fact that he never mentions his sister's work (her internet-viewable work suggests she is interested in architecture and outdoor settings primarily, and has done much interesting work with wide angle lenses of late) indicates insecurity and jealousy. He outspent her 100-fold on equipment, for one third the result. I was a photographer throughout my youth and sold many images to newspapers, magazines and book publishers. She is superbly talented. His work is shit.

it's true that her photos are vastly superior to Howard's but she DOES manipulate them - most look as if color curves have been used to pump up the saturation....at least. However, the effect is interesting and it's obvious she has an artists eye.

You can state that she is a better photographer than Howard (she is) but don't state no photoshop on the pix. Virtually all of them are HDR pix which by definition is 3+ images layerd onto one another digitally to enhance the natural contrast.

He used to ridicule her for it. I think she has won awards for her pictures. Her stuff gets published in a lot of (real) magazines, too:
