    Pet Insurance?!

Does anyone here have pet insurance? If so, can you give me some feedback?

And as Elvis will soon be ten years old (2/22/13) is he considered too old to insure?

    Thanks!!!!

Pet Smart offers a good program for $12 a month

It's a ripoff. You will pay more than you will ever get out of it. Not sure about a 10 year old though.

He's getting up there in age and we just paid $1500.00 for eye surgery a few months ago. Wondering if we should invest in this in case of other issues?

I get mine from my vet, 10$ per cat per month, includes 1 yearly checkup for free, accidents (broken bones etc....) are 100% covered for the life of the cat, natrually occuring illnesses you get 30% off for treatment unless they decide it is pointless and the cat will die. sounds like a lot but keep in mind here a yearly checkup for a cat will run you 100$ anyways....

I doubt many will issue a new policy for an older dog.
