Heres the update.

His friend is working hard.

He will get paid every two weeks (which is actually 3 weeks from the day he started because you get paid thursday or friday)

They will setup an account for him, complete with debt card (so he wont actually get a check).

Not that ive been through this before....

I very briefly got excited and then I remembered I already make nearly 4x that much.

Good for someone, though.

My company is hiring over 50 people to temporarily run operations at just one area plant which was crushed by the storm surge. Unemployment will be approaching zero in the NYC area over the next year.
