I liked Chevy Chase's attitude toward authority and stuck up assholes:
Be a calm, badass with a good sense of humor:

The wizard of Oz movie still amazes me I watch it every year and marvel at the imagination and the creativeness of it.
I started watching the kids in the hall in middle school and that really changed my sense of humor on what was funny.
One night when I was going thru my grunge phase in middle school I saw Tommy the movie at 2 o'clock in the morning On some movie channel. I ended up going out the next day and buying every Who cassette I could find and really got in to classic rock and psychedelic stuff.
The show"Six Feet Under" changed my life. It helped me face death and appreciate life for what it is. It was just inspiring to me, fell in love with the characters and cried like a little bitch at the series finale. I own the DVD Box set and have watched it over and over.
I lost both my parents within a year and a half of each other and this show helped with the grieving process.
The Matrix made me think about existence
Another one for me is Californication. It made me realize that not giving a shit works sometimes when trying to get laid.
Fuckin' awesome show (the first two seasons at least).
My name was supposed to be French fries with mayo but I was drunk when I signed up.
You can also just call me "Dick".
The Big Lebowski.
May sound stupid, but at the time it came out, I was 18 and into easy, dumb movies for the most part. Saw Lebowski and it kind of made me start appreciating quality film making.
Also liked The Dude's laid back attitude. Kind of try to incorporate that into my life.
Strike the shepherd and the sheep will scatter.
The Bridge On The River Kwai made me think about perseverance in even the worst situations. Leadership skills were also compared. Some people can't handle the compromise that must happen working with big personalities on big projects. Some people can be brought to understand the big picture at the cost of their own ego.
