Spokeswoman Tammy Smitham said the national pharmacy chain normally starts playing holiday tunes at the beginning of November. They had no idea it got on people's nerves.
But now that the chain has some 45,000 Facebook fans giving feedback in real time, Shoppers has gotten the message.
"We looked at the volume of feedback that we were getting. From the majority, we've heard people say it's too early," Smitham said.

ya, now that my daughters 16, i'm totally burnt out & couldnt care less abut xmas by dec 1st. those fucken advertisers ruin everything. holidays should end with mah favorite, thanksgiving, great food, drink, family, no expectations & a little fball.

Department stores have had their Christmas stuff up since October's first week, the malls have had all their big decoration up since around the middle of October. Here in Pennsylvania they started airing this fucking 3 decades old Christmas Lottery commercial this week. You didn't use to see it till December.
