Heard the Monday replay today where Howard promised he wouldn't goof on people if they decided to stay home, then proceeded to do nothing but that for the rest of the week. He was also predicting that the storm wouldn't be a big deal, just some wind and a little flooding. We all knew he was stupid, selfish, and delusional but this is extreme even for him.

Moreover, he had Jackie and/or Artie piling on and writing "the funny" for him.

That whole "can I depend on you?" questioning of the staff reminded me of that Saddam Hussein conference with all of the Ba'ath party delegates, where the security would take selected ones out back to shoot them, and the rest came up one by one to a microphone to declare their undying love and faithfulness to that tyrant.

I think he really is becoming similar to Hussein and Kim Jung Il. He thinks the staff of the show and Howard TV work for HIM, not his company.

Howard wanted them all to say that he and the show were the most important things in their lives and he flipped out when it didn't happen. He really does have a lot of the characteristics of other infamous tyrants and dictators.
