Girl in the pit needs to take acting classes

Jodie Foster's a top scoring, hard working student who's finally put on the dream assignment - yet she can hardly stand the sight of the victim in the morgue without crying and trembling in fear. I have med student friends who aren't nearly as "dedicated" as her, and they cut up corpses all the time.

Hannibal's incredibly fake "superpower" which allows him to give a perfect read on anyone he meets.

I could go on and on. It was a decent watch, but a ton of lame elements really brought it down.

It's not very realistic but it's still a good movie. I agree about Hannibal having super powers. It was even more prevalent in the movie Hannibal. He's supposed to be highly intelligent but he goes beyond the human level to the point that it's too far fetched. Hopkins is a great actor though so both movies are enjoyable to watch.

Yeah, well, if nothing else, it's an indicator of what Hollywood (at the time) considered a "great film." If I'm not mistaken, Foster, Hopkins and director Demme, all received Academy Awards for their performances.

Have you seen the first Exorcist movie gary? I'm guessing you're an atheist but you still might find it creepy. That movie freaked me out. The Exorcist III is also pretty good. The rest of them are terrible.

Silence of the Lambs was pretty good. I didn't think her West Virginia accent was that bad. If she put on a legit hillbilly accent you and much of the audience would not have understood shit she was saying. So it was a nice balance.

Actually, yes. But my sister wasn't with them, not sure where she went.
