The length of his absence and the non-information updates makes me think it is serious. He fell and hit his head - we all know horror stories that begin like this. Another possibility is he had a stroke/seizure and then fell.

he left the board too?
I thought he had diabetes, and has been gaining weight the last few years.
I asked the same thing. It's not sounding good. http://www.dawgsaloon.com/showthread...-Health-Update
Shave That Thang

larry has a new brief podcast up on carolla digital and says that he will resume his regular podcast in january 2013.
Post-concussion (assuming it was just a severe concussion) personality changes and emotional difficulties may be seen. Add an intracranial bleed into the mix, and all bets are off. Rest (and the use of certain medication) is often all one can do while hoping for complete recovery. His was a uniquely-quick wit (I used to see his stand-up at Catch a Rising Star in the 80's) that might have been drastically affected by his injury. Let's hope he has a healthy, happy New Year.
LARRY MILLER RETURNS!

I listened today- for being out of commission for NINE MONTHS, he sounds really great! Hopefully he'll get back to sitting in on Adam's show soon, we are sorely in need of some hypothetical roadtrips...![]()
This is better than rejuvenation.

Sad that his illness didn't get a lot of press....i just read about it 3 days ago.....guys a major talent..............
"WHO DISS?????????"
Larry finally came back to the ACS today. He sounds really good, talked about the accident, being put into an induced coma, rehab, etc. They had to remove a skull flap for a while to reduce pressure on his brain. It's great to have him back on the show again!

Yes! Although I confess that I haven't kept up my listening since the two or three shows after he returned (to make sure he was okay). I'm just happy he's well and working. (I'm afraid to ask if he's still drinking 'cause I suspect the answer's "oh yes".)

He's not THAT heartless as to feed his shitty wine coolers to a seriously ill friend, is he?
(Never tried it but read bad things.)
