About his drug use, until Monday night's show. The bit about Seacrest's water was pretty funny for the first 15 minutes, but he would not shut the fuck up. Nick needs to stand up for himself and the show (and the twins for that matter, Artie was terrorizing them as well), and tell Artie to calm the fuck down or get out of the studio. It's his show too, he must be shitting his pants about the show going down the toilet. Also, as of 4-5 AM this morning, the whole show was posted on their site, but now only the third hour is on there. I don't think Ken Cole is happy with being told to shut up by Artie.

I still think he's one of the funniest guys around, but he is never going to kick his drug habit. What a fucking shame. It is going to be an interesting show tonight.

I listened to it today at work... even as an Artie apologist, I found his behavior very disconcerting. He was so amped up, it was scary. I *hope* there's a non-chemical reason to explain his state of mind, but I don't know... This is the first time since the N&A show began that I've thought maybe he could be back-sliding. I hope I'm wrong.

Not too much of the gay thing. Seacrest is using the same studio all week & he left his "special" water in the fridge. Artie was drinking it & Dan came in & said "Oh, no, that's Ryan's special water - we aren't allowed to drink it."
And Artie went nuts! He was calling him a douche & he didn't like him & he was going to drink all his water up. He didn't care & he said "Hey, Ryan -can you hear me - I'm drinking your water!" More obnoxious than anything.

Yeah, except that Artie doesn't HAVE mood swings. Artie does drugs. I hope he gets off them and lives a happy life, but I no longer harbor any illusions. The SOB is funnier (high or, especially, sober) than anyone on the air.
