Not good.....it's looking like we're going to have to do some construction on the cabinets to fit the height....for roughly the same size as is there now.

I've pretty much got my heart set on a Samsung with something they call a "platinum" finish....I find that cleaning stainless steel is a pain in the patute and streaks like crazy....

Also, even "turned off and empty" it is the easiest bottom drawer freezer to open....taking Bye's advice into account.

So I've got to bite the bullet and figure out who can do the carpentry work....

I thought it would be simple....never ends up being.....

However, I would like to say that we are having a "permanent" generator being put in tomorrow, so that if the power ever goes out....it will be powerful enough to run the entire household.

We made this investment for the pup, who had a heart tumor and could not live with extreme temperature changes.....

Well, with the storms we have been having the past few years.....the surrounding towns have been losing power for a WEEK....

Hub is a tad older than I and would leave this area for warmer parts if it wasn't for me.....so he said at least he'll have peace of mind about the pipes not freezing, etc.

He threatens us on a regular basis to move into a 55+ community.....he says the rest of us won't be able to come because we don't qualify.....he figures he'll have 5 years of peace and quiet at minimum....he's a charmer, that one.
