    More twitter updates!
I'm totally digging this, most of it is just really funny stuff.

Here, Deeg and I are feeling depressed that no one showed up to the Beer League 7 year anniversary party

OH WAIT, I see Jimmy Palumbo pulling up!!!!

Turns out it wasn't Palumbo - it was some other guy in a Corona Construction hat.

Deeg and I are hysterical when we hear that Jimmy wants us to make Beer League 2

I'm annoyed at the juice bar that a court order forces my trainer to check my smoothie for booze

No one is more surprised that I - upon finding out my smoothie does indeed contain alcohol

Here I am finding out my tanning salon has gone out of business
My name was supposed to be French fries with mayo but I was drunk when I signed up.

Not to disagree with anybody who finds his photos/tweets funny, but I think he got the idea after seeing/reading Judah Friedlander's "Karate" book.

Still also hoping for that Guns 'n Roses reunion though.
As a fan of Artie's, I wouldn't want him to even think about going back to that show. Howard doesn't give a flying fuck about Artie, why should he go back there? N&A is an awesome show on its own; Artie doesn't need Howard for a thing. I am not exactly a sports fan, but I have not missed a show yet, and most of the time Artie makes the sports discussion entertaining.

Thank you SO much for posting these. I was laughing inappropriately at a family function reading this thread yesterday on my phone. The treadmill one was my favorite.

By the way, I've heard Judah Friedlander interviewed exactly twice, never saw him in any other form, and he was a complete and utter bore. I have zero expectation that Artie stole a thing from him.

We will not be used as an instrument of ridicule. We will not be made fun of. We are simply going to be here, be proud, be large, and enjoy what we feel is our right to food.

I agree about the borefest, disagree about the book. I've seen samples of the book, and the humour is photo-based. Check it out for yourself before you break your neck jumping to such baseless conclusions.

Artie going berserk on Kim Kardashin hahaha

What paparazzi would not want a shot of Kanye pumping Kim's face while shit is pouring out of her giant ass...and all over the crops
    8h

Kris Jenner has worked into the deal that Kanye West will be allowed to have sex with Kim's mouth while she works at the farm
    8h

The Kardashian family wil be paid $100 mil for 2 yrs if Kim agrees to fertilize the crops with gallons of shit spewing out of her giant ass
    8h

Turning a neg into a positive. Since the shit will not stop spewing out of Kim Kardashian's ass, Her mom has cut a deal w midwestern farmers
    8h

I completely agree with you, but it would be cool if things were different, all I'm sayin'.

Yeah, I hear ya. I was a Stern fan at one time but I realized I was more of a fan of Art's than Howard.

So this relatively young guy I've barely heard of invented the idea of funny one-liners AND funny photo captions? You're really serious about this? Talk about baseless assertions, man.

You're being rather dense here. Funny captions go back to cave paintings.

Someone finally taught Artie to use Quitter. He found he could post photos as well as short messages. He's hilarious at it. That's it. Why you feel the need to give all the credit to some hack is beyond me.

If, on the other hand, Artie directly credited the Judah guy for inspiring him, please let me know, preferably with a citation, and I'll take it back.

I never mentioned the origins of funny captions, merely that the reading of the aforementioned book gave him the impetus to try this stuff out for himself--if you're going to read my posts, then please read them correctly the first time. He's very good at it, make no mistake, and it's an easy laugh (and clean). But on JF's second appearance, Artie made sure to talk up the book so much, and voila; the Artie Tweets appear the following week. I'm sure he said to himself "I could do this in my sleep and make money off of it."

JF is a regular character on 30 Rock. A hack, maybe, but a rich one.

Okay thanks, so then we're clear now, you've just completely imagined both his inspiration and his reasoning, including what went on in his head, all because a guest appeared on the show. As I said, if Artie credits him, then fine. Otherwise I will continue to see this merely as Artie being freaking funny. But feel free to imagine otherwise. To each his own. And of course you might be right.

Haha this actually sounds pretty cool. He's on key... most of the time.

I like them both very much and I don't hold a grudge against neither (edit; lol. Just realized I picked that up livin' in the South for a while). The truth is none of us know what went down behind the scenes before, during and after Artie left the show, so I'm not passing judgment on any of the people involved. I think a lot of people are hating a bit too hard on Howard. Sure, he's far from a perfect person and I get the reason why people are negative about him, but I still can't get tired of listening. Evidently a lot of people on the web too, because they're all talking about him and the show.

But I definitely agree that Artie made the show a whole lot more entertaining. I'm catching up now, halfway through 2008 now. Artie was a great addition to the team. For better or worse, the best fights of the show involved him. Fucking hate high pitch Mike and Lisa G and every time Artie bulldozed over them made me very happy.
