"Blue" is the new "Red".

You know how most electronics, when you turn them on, a little red light comes on? Well the last 2 pieces of equipment I've bought (a little 6 track audio mixer, and some speakers) the light is blue when you turn them on. And they are different brands. Weird.

Totally agree! I had to put a little piece of tape over the light on the mixer because it is so annoying.

It's the default "high tech" color now. Hopefully, it's a fad that will die out soon.

Haha, lol, no. Seriously, I've never had anything that the "on" indicator light is blue, and the 2 most recent things I've bought has this. Maybe it's a "trend".

on all Android devices Blue means it's on. When you plug the device into the AC if the battery isn't full the light goes red until the battery is 100% and then it turns blue.

I have tested this theory with my Droid X and find it to be pure conjecture. No light is on when it's on. When I press the little button to light up the time, there is no blue indicator. When I plugged it into AC with an 80% charge, no red light came on or changed to red. The battery indicator light is green and doesn't change color.
