Why does my belly burn after I eat CHIPS AHOY cookies..like if I ate a spaghetti dinner???????
What's the common ingredient???????
Another hypothesis for your pain, Grateful, is that you have significant reflux (GERD). The tomato sauce in a traditional pasta dinner and the chocolate in Chips Ahoy cookies are classic triggers of GERD. This is not absolute, and carbs may trigger discomfort, but see whether pasta without tomato sauce and cookies without chocolate elicit the same discomfort. Much can be done about your problem, by the way. Good luck, and don't hesitate to PM me if you have questions.
