I feel for the guy, he had a really sexy gf Daner and was all set with Yankee tickets and a life and somewhere along the line he fell off the cliff and became a very troubled guy. At this best he really made me laugh. I could relate to the show when he was there, he was a regular guy in the way he related to humor.

Now it seems like years and years ago. Sometimes when I listen to old shows with him I realize how much he really did to make the show funny and entertaining.

He doesn't look as bad as before, when he was using heavily and overeating. He looked so awful before. But his gut is huge. Dude looks pregnant. It makes me sad and makes me know that the guy has a long long way to go. It's not like he doesn't have free time to get a little exercise. Shit man, if he just went to a gym for 45 minutes and did one go through circuit training a couple days a week, he wouldn't be so fat, and he'd feel a million times better. Just makes me sad cause it's obvious he refuses to even try. And the eating, all that fattening, non-nutritious food he always eats. Still using these crutches to avoid going through what's in his head. That wannabe old school macho mentality is a self-imposed oppression. Guy's got himself in chains. It's really fucked up.

Yeah, I've heard that it can be. But there's clearly more to it than just that. I could see a person being overweight, but his gut is HUGE. Seriously, I would give him the benefit of the doubt about eating whatever he wants, if he did just a little exercise. But just looking at him you can see he's doing zero.

One thing that is pretty sad is that if/when Mama Lange passes away, he will most likely end up back in the metaphorical gutter. His sister and mother are his crutches, the only people in his life he can honestly say have no hidden agenda. It really is a fucking shame. It seems like he needs more friends that are looking out for his best interests. I hope Nick put up some sort of fight when he heard they were going to be broadcasting from a bar. I doubt it though.
