I'd like a big iMac too! But I'm afraid it would just sit on the desk, turned off. My MBP is always on, on the arm of my chair or couch. I'm chillin 24/7 these days.

I've got a 17" MacBook Pro and it's hands-down the best computer I've ever owned. It does EVERYTHING I want, and does it fast. My kids have iMacs. I'd like to get them laptops when it's time to upgrade. They can run Windows ON the Mac and play their (fucking) PC games.

I was a hardcore PC guy, built my first computer and upgraded the shit out of it... but I worked with Macs during the day and after a while there just wasn't an argument that the Mac OS was superior. I mean, it was plain. So I switched and never looked back.

I like to look on http://www.apple.com/store and find the REFURBISHED tab, save some $$$.

I have OSX and Windows using bootcamp on my Mac. Hardware beats any laptop for the same price. It's fast, don't need anti virus or anti spyware bullshit and thanks to Intel, we have the same software made for both. Can't go back to PC

I'm wit ya Mike & x76. I hope Apple continues to do well in the market, but selfishly not TOO well so that market share keeps the malware target on fuckin Microsoft. I've worked in the puter bidness since the 70's, and my Macbook Pro is the best purchase I've ever made. OSX is solid as a brick outhouse and is as granular as you need it to be. I have AV, but haven't needed it. I have Parallels so that I can run XP in a VM, but I don't need that either. If ever I'm inclined to get the latest MBP, I can put this one on ebay and get prob 50% of what I paid for it. Try that with a Sony or Toshiba! I will never buy another Windows anything.

APPL was @ $5 a share about ten years ago when my finance major ex-wife and my stockbroker both discouraged me from putting $10K on APPL. Which would be worth half a million today. GREAT ADVICE, GUYS, THANKS ONE WHOLE FUCKING BUNCH! LOVE YA! MEAN IT!
