I really don't think the show is that bad. It still delivers laughs for this reporter, the major things I don't like are Artie's absence and Sal and Dick Christy's phony phone calls are drying up a bit. I love the Eric The Midget vortex....

I haven't listened much since he started off the year complaining about how he didn't want to be there and hated doing the show and that he would piss on the fans if he want to. When I did tune in, it was just boring and never heard anything remotely funny.

I think with this new AGT job it will be even more complaining about not wanting to be there even less interest in the show and he will probably blame the lawsuit and abandon the show altogether sometime in the middle of 2012.

i think it felt worse last year because the drop off was so quick, and this year i expected shit shows and got them

I listened to clips of Eric on Youtube, becuz I wanted to hear the SFN thing. Most of it was Johnny Fratto & I couldn't get thru it.

Actually when I first started listening, I would listen to the old replays, yeah some of the very old stuff hadn't aged well.

Yeah, I listened to all the earliest stuff I could find.. 1980 sounded completely amateur, but by 1985 they were really rolling.

I cancelled last January after rumors began that the show was going to 3 day weeks.

It's been a horrible year. The worst ever for the show, which nobody can deny. And it will only get worse next year.

Tho' I argue that last year SEEMED worse because the post-Artie lack of anything comedy was pretty shocking.

This year has been worse, but at least we had time to see it coming.

I kinda remember that you never were in TO before you got alerted by some jackass on an old post... unfortunately it was during a time of "heightened sensitivity" on suspected slurs

There were a handful of good interviews this year. But overall, it was a pretty shitty year. I can't imagine how next year will be with all the AGT talk! Plus, if AGT starts interfering with his summering in the Hamptons, then Howard is going to be very, very grouchy.....
