Anybody listen to today's show?
Opinions?
I haven't found the patience required to listen yet.
I couldn't listen to yesterday's depressing Schimmel tribute but I heard the Hanzi call late last night.
I found it disturbing the way Howard & Robin (and the monkey) were agitating poor crazy Hanzi, taunting him by insisting that he stop listening to the show.
The poor guy sounded like he was ready to go step off the roof of a very tall building.
Maybe I'm still overly sensitive about Howard's lack of compassion since sitting through the marathon 6-part Complete Artie Lange Addiction Saga courtesy WushDishMeen productions.
Howard's always been a mean, exploitative little shit but it used to be funny to me at least.
The business with Hanzi wasn't funny -it was just mean.
And depressing -especially occurring as it did- in the middle of the Schimmel tribute.

I find it frustrating to say the least lately. It used to be, a topic would come up or you'd here about a news story, and think, "Damn, Howard's gonna go off on this tomorrow" or "He's got to love this" but nowadays, it all depends on what party he and Beth went to. Or who's show Beth is going to appear on next.
His life outside the show apparently is dictating his views and opinions on the show.
The better question would be this.
How many years has it been since the stern show has had original content? Youtube seems to be the order of the day now.

Most of the stuff this week has been bogus. The Schimmel stuff was good, but depressing, but the Hanzi shit, the contract talk and the Russian broad stuff was all cooked up in a big vat of bullshit. I hope Sirius tells him to go screw himself.

Yeah Howard, we all believe a 20 year old Russian girl would pick a 60 year old man over the others.

I seriously think him and that pea brained wife are about to split up. That bitch is about as useless as a lawnmower with no blade. What a stupid cunt. Somebody should Crazy Glue her shoes to the red carpet when no one's looking. Oh My Dog was the biggest waste of paper since they printed tickets for The World Football League. She should be collecting tolls on the Jersey Turnpike.

Of course Howard probably believes that Beth had NO idea who he was when they met.

that was complete bullshit -- remember when you were in college, and you couldn't imagine dating anyone over 30? maybe if you have Richard Gere or George Clooney looks -- maybe -- but howard has that beak, that turkey neck, those horrible clothes, those bad teeth, and that awful wig
that second chick has been around, and knew exactly who he was

If they were in the U.S. during the American Idol talk a few months back there is no fucking way they wouldn't have known who Howard was - his freakin' picture was everywhere for almost a month. If they weren't in the States, there's still no way in the age of internet and satellite TV that they hadn't picked up anything on Howard, such as the $500 million deal a few years back. Virtually every story pertaining to Howard has his picture accompanying it. When the one chick picked fat-ass baldo Benjy first, I knew it was a set-up (diversionary pick).

How could someone go on a radio show and not know anything about it? They didn't look at the website the day before at least?
They were "replacements". I wonder why.

This sounds like one of my rants when she "drops by" the studio.
