Lots of radio DJ's have pretended to be callers and have "conversations" with themselves. Its an old radio trick. Phil Hendrie is a master at this.

I haven't heard tonight's show yet but will give it a listen.

Just heard it. Im still not sure that Gonzo is not Colin but it didnt seem like a set up phone call so i guess its possible its not him

It's not. But what is true is how shitty Quinn was on the show without Artie.

It just goes to show you either have chemistry or you don't. Quinn's a funny guy but he ain't Artie.

The first hour was decent, only because Nick had was doing a lot of the talking and had some good lines. For the most part, Colin really didn't have much; a few funny things here and there. Enough of the twins reading lines from movies. It was barely funny the first time. I take back what I said before about liking them on the show. What are they getting paid to do again?

At the 40 minute mark on the first hour of the iTunes dl, you can hear Nick "hang up" on "Gonzo" in mid sentence. You can hear the hard cutoff. After Nick apologizes for cutting him off, you hear Gonzo again until the show fades out. :jj:

This. They have the same inflection & use the same colloquialisms.
If you listen to hour 1 again & pay attention, you will notice it. They respond the same way to questions. "I do." "I did."
Plus, I remember the first time Gonzo called & he said the name of his bar in Jersey City. I looked it up & NO SUCH bar exists.

Next time, I call into N&A, I'm going to say I'm interested in Gonzo & say that I want to meet him.

That was the worst Gonzo call ever. It was obviously Colin and a tape.

Colin doesnt change his phrasing or cadence. Its the same breathy voice.

I thought the guy, who does the Gonzo imitation, admitted to it some months back (Nov.-Dec). I thought his name was Steve in real life. Pretty lame impression if you ask me. Maybe he was the same guy always calling in referring to Nick as Rick.
