NEW JERSEY - A New Jersey mother faces a child endangerment charge after sneaking her 5-year-old into a tanning booth, causing her to burn, according to a Star Ledger report.

Patricia Krentril, 44, was investigated after her daughter told adults at school that she had burns on her body.

New Jersey bans anyone under 14 from using a tanning booth.

The school contacted authorities and the mother was arrested.

Krentcil is currently out on bond, but her daughter is in her father’s custody.

Charges should be brought against any tanning salon that agrees to allow this woman to use their facilities.

Clearly, there's a behavioral problem at work, since no healthy person would continue to tan themselves after achieving this remarkably dangerous skin tone. Child protective services needs to look into this woman's ability to care for children, since clearly, she has no regard for her own personal safety. The fact that she can't see what she's doing to herself speaks volumes.

Again, though. What kind of tanning salon would allow someone to continuously tan once they see her face? If only to shield yourself from liability when this woman finally gets the diagnosis we all see coming.

She wasn't nearly as dark in her mug shot picture. I assume that what we see in the video is the result of some kind of spray tanning or something. I don't think a fair skinned Caucasoid can even get that dark.
