San Diego nightlife? Anything to do that doesn't cater to tourists?

So, I have a trip to San Diego coming up this weekend. I have to work Friday but have Friday night and Saturday night to head out for some fun. Aside from the tourist places like Gastown, etc. are there any other cool neighborhoods/bars to visit? Places where the clientele don't know nor don't care about AGT, dog shows, runways, bogus fundraisers, mom caves, etc.? That's my preference.

You got the Body Shop in downtown which is hit or miss. If you are into the live entertainment then just head on down to TJ. No you won't get beheaded, it's a lot safer than you imagine. Bambi Club has too many trannies unless you are into that sorta thing and the cops will roll you for "mordida" if you are obnoxious or drinking open container after 3am.

Hillcrest is full of queers but there's a good chocolate shop if you have the baba booey sweet toof.

Pacific Beach or PB as all the locals say is loaded with bars and the cops will fuck you up if u drunk. If you're with a chick or have an expense account then go kick it in La Jolla. Gorgeous girls and great restaurants.

I miss San Diego every day bro so enjoy.

Little Italy downtown is not mott st NYC but the food is great, not expensive and it is one of the few areas were people hang outside the clubs/restaurants

If you're hitting the town solo or with one other bro PB is probably best starting off Margarita Rocks and work your way to PB bar. Fridays bring out a good crowd and plenty of hot Brazilian broads. If you're bringing or meeting up with a chick Downtown is cool there's plenty north of the Gaslamp the Double Deuce is always fun Belo if you like black girls. Downtown strip club has great steaks and close to all. Lastly if you want a more chill night hit Little Italy the old British Pub is very cool more relaxed and friendlier faces even if you roll solo.

1. Its called the Gaslamp area and while it is a little pricey its great for grabbing a few drinks and people watching, go down and walk around for an hour for the experience later in the evening

2. Have dinner at Buon Appetito in Little Italy, hand made pasta and its incredible. Also check out the Neighborhood downtown for an awesome beer and burger selection. If you head uptown try Cucina Urbana, Wine Vault & Bistro or down by the beach in Ocean Beach, the South Beach bar and grill for the best mahi fish taco you've ever had, get them fried.. In La Jolla I suggest george's by the Cove for Lunch, best view ever. You will need reservatoins for all these places but well worth it

3. For sight seeing Sunset Cliffs in Ocean Beach is a nice walk and obviously by the name, great for watching sunsets, Torrey Pines park is another great place for hiking and panoramic ocean/cliff views. THe Zoo here is incredible, I'm not a big fan of zoos but the one here is pretty cool and the animals look happy. Balboa Park is a must also.

If you want pussy, take the trolley down to the border and get a cab to take you to Adelitas or Hong Kong, you can negotiate the price. Just drink beers there, dont buy the booze. The chicks will come around and solicit you to take them next door, its $70-$80 for a 1/2 hour. Great strip clubs for just hanging too but dont cause any problems and if anyone starts talking shit to you just move away and the other mexicans will take care of him. Take a cab back to the border. Taco Bell, with the chihuahua on the roof, is on the way to Revolucion has some good grub and a few tacos for $1 but around 3am when it quiets down they'll give you 2 for 1 beers. Drink em there because if you take um with you on your walk back the policia is right around the corner with their hands out. My stupid ass has been burned by that game too many times.

partied in TJ every weekend..I seen the sex acts on stage "and participated" in em...kilos were $75 bucks..
