Question is, is the Stern staff qualified to do other work? Because if I were in their shoes, I would have been long gone by now. I can only imagine what their resumes look like. There are some good semi decent salaries to be had in NYC of all places.

I agree. I used to think sal was nuts when he'd say stuff like "beth is controlling Howard" and "enjoy having those kids beth doesn't want to have but will have anyway" but he kinda had a point. The worst part is he, like many members of the staff, is fucked once the show ends.

Hmm... I'm wondering...

Maybe the reason why some people that havent left isnt because theyre screwed, but maybe they are afraid to leave Howard (and his supposed wrath). I mean there are a small number of people that can get another job. Look at how John was treated when he left. It's sad in a way, because Richard can definitely join up with a band and still work. Sal can go back to selling stocks or something (assuming he can). Some of the other back office people are fucked though.

Here's hoping they realize soon that Howard is defanged and harmless.
